No! Swimming is NOT required. You will wear a life jacket that keeps you afloat. Our certified guides and rescue swimmers are always with you.

March to July is peak season with snowmelt creating the best rapids. September to October (post-monsoon) offers moderate water with great weather.

Age 10+ for beginner routes, 12+ for intermediate, 14+ for advanced. Maximum age is 65 if physically fit. Weight: 35-100 kg.

Wear quick-dry clothing, shorts/track pants, and secure footwear (sandals with straps or sports shoes). We provide wetsuits in cold weather.
